Brand Manager - Sodalis Iberia
The Job
a) Description
An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing FMCG company with strong operations across Iberia.
The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies and annual plans, with a focus on innovation, communication, and the 5Ps. The portfolio includes a mix of local, Iberian, and international brands, offering a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
The position is based in Madrid, with regular travel to Portugal (around 4 days per month) and occasional trips to Italy or other locations.
Key requirements:
- 4–5 years of experience in Brand Management within the FMCG sector, ideally in Home or Personal Care (DPH)
- Proven experience in innovation, project, and product management
- Strong autonomy, analytical mindset, and results orientation
- Fluent in English
b) Position in the Company
Reports directly to the Iberian Marketing Director, based in Lisbon.
c) Responsibilities
- Lead the brand and category strategy, roadmap, and plans
- Manage end-to-end product launches — from analysis and positioning to go-to-market execution, pricing, and promotional strategy
- Identify market gaps, business opportunities, and financial levers at both brand and category levels
- Define and oversee promotion, advertising, in-store activation, and PR strategies
- Lead the promotional plan and ensure flawless execution
- Support Consumer Affairs and coordinate digital & social media strategies
- Monitor market and competitive trends, translating insights into actionable plans
- Prioritize effectively and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Collaborate closely with internal departments (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.)
The Candidate
a) Profile
- Degree in Marketing, Management, or related field
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in FMCG Brand Management, with at least 2 years in DPH
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Italian is a plus
b) Hard Skills
- Strong FMCG brand management expertise, ideally in Personal Care/Beauty
- Solid experience in product development and innovation
- Strong commercial and financial understanding (including P&L ownership)
- Excellent command of 5Ps management
- Experience in advertising strategy and media planning
- Understanding of CS&L flows and operational processes
- Skilled negotiator with experience managing suppliers and agencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Nielsen/IRI software
